notes:

Lucy Hutton has always hated her coworker Joshua Templeton. But Joshua might hate her even more. They constantly butt heads and challenge each other in various ways- including workplace games and tasks to see who really hates who the most. When an important opportunity arises at work, the two are finding themselves spending a lot more time together which is challenging them both professionally and emotionally. But after all this time feeling so strongly about the other, is the emotion they are each feeling really hate?

The enemies to lovers troupe is one of my favorites, so of course I loved this book. The workplace banter and games between the main characters were witty and fun, yet at times a bit repetitive. Being a romance/chick lit book the ending can often be relatively predictable, yet Sally Thorne does a great job countering that by adding depth and insights to the characters and their emotions throughout the storyline.

Bonus: this book is now a Major Motion Picture!
